This program is design for people that is not able to take part of ourr face to face program that is given in the city of Cusco - Peru. Which is the place where our headquarters are located. In order to be effective with our learning goals, this program has to mantain a daily or inter daily communication through an internet connection. You have to remember that is easier to learn for students that interact in a spanish speaking ambiance like Cusco, that is why why encourange you to do your lessons daily for familiarized better with the language and it sounds.
The technology we use for giving the lessons is a platform that offers online webinar software developed with the purpose of giving people the oportunity to have online meetings. This software has all the funcionalities we need in order to teach our lessons.
The screen of the webinar software we use has a whiteboard where you will be able to see all the content lessons (presentations, words, pointers, etcetera) as if you where in a real class, it has also a video box from where you will be able to see the teachers in real time and from where you will be able to chat and ask questions with your microphone.
The system has the funcionality to pass voice in real time giving students the oportunity to hear the teachers in real time and also to ask questions when they want.
In order to be ready for your lessons, you have to join our online program and we will send you the instrucctions for entering your online classroom where you will atted your spanish lessons.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer: Laptop or Desktop. The newer the better but all of them work.
- Speakers or Headphones: Put some good speakers to your computer for having better audio. You can also use a good pair of headphones. If your headphones have a microphone inclided that is even better.
- Microphone: Is a must if you want to ask questions or give your opinion speaking in real time, that is why we recommend students to have one. If you do not have a microphone, dont worry, you can ask questions by chat.
- Screen: Is better to have a big screen for cheking better the video lessons, is completely optional.
- Webcam: Is optional.
- Internet connection: Is better to have a fast connection for attending better the lessons. We can try yours and if do not work well you can ask for a faster connection to your provider. A 150kbps speed or more is good for attending the lessons online. In other words, almost everybody is able to attend the lessons.
- Browser: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari are good for attending the lessons. Depends on your wants and needs.
